Golden Milk Paste
Makes approx. 1 cup paste

Store in fridge for up to 30 days
High Speed Blender, I use Vitamix
This paste is a delicious Ayurvedic base for hot golden milk. Add a tablespoon to your favorite warmed nut milk, coffee, tea or just hot water.
Paste:
*These measurements are approximate, depending on your flavor preference.

6 medjool dates, pitted

1 Tbsp local honey (optional)

1/4 cup fresh turmeric peeled and finely chopped

1/4 cup fresh ginger peeled and grated or finely chopped

1/2-2/3 cup best quality raw coconut oil (I use Bright Earth)

1/4 cup best quality MCT oil, I use Bullet Proof

1 Tbsp Ceylon Cinnamon

1 Tsp ground cardamom

1 Tbsp freshly grated nutmeg

2 Tsp or more, freshly ground black pepper

2 Tsp ground vanilla bean, or 1 Tbsp best quality vanilla bean extract

1/2 Tsp ground clove
*Try adding 1 drop of YL Thieves to your beverage. It adds additional spice, helps build immunity and soothes scratchy throats.
Directions:
Place all ingredients in blender and blend (scraping sides, on/off) until smooth. Transfer to large mason jar and store in the refrigerator for up to 30 days
