Easy Dutch Babies
Preheat Oven to 425
Prep Time: 10 minutes (Eggs should sit out for at least 6 hours) room temp.
Cook Time: 22-26 minutes
9 inch cast iron skillet
2 Tbsp Bulletproof Brain Octane Oil OR ghee
6 eggs room temperature
1 Tbsp. raw local honey
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract or 1/2 tsp. powdered vanilla bean
1/2 tsp. sea salt
3/4 cup Einkorn Flour (or gluten free flour blend)
3/4 cup raw milk or nut milk
2 Tbsp. raw unsalted butter
Combine all ingredients except butter in Vitamix or other high speed blender
Blend on high for 10 seconds
Add 2 Tbsp. butter to 9 inch cast iron skillet and place in oven for 5+ minutes or until butter is sizzling and skillet is hot.
Pour batter into hot skillet and bake until golden and puffy.
*Serve with jam, fresh fruit or pure maple syrup
