Vanilla Syrup

Ingredients:

3 cups filtered water
¼ cup Sweat Leaf organic stevia extract sweetener
1/2 cup grade B organic maple syrup
1 tbsp organic unsulphured molasses

2 tsp vanilla bean powder or ¼ cup pure organic vanilla extract

Directions:

Combine first four ingredients and bring to a low boil. Lower the temperature and simmer, swirling pan occasionally, for approximately 15 minutes or until reduced  by 1/3-ish. Cool and add vanilla. Refrigerate overnight before use, allowing the flavors to meld together. For Chai or Pumpkin Pie flavored blend spices into cooled vanilla syrup. Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator, shaking before use. If you want to add even more healthy goodness to your morning, try the Bullet Proof Version breakfast in a cup and fuel for your brain!

*Bullet Proof version:

Combine the following ingredients-

8 ozs of hot fresh coffee

1 Tbsp ghee (see recipe) OR grass fed unsalted butter

1 Tbsp raw/extra virgin organic coconut oil

 

Using a Vitamix or other high speed blender. Blend on high speed for 30 seconds or until frothy and creamy.  Add desired amount of syrup if you prefer a sweeter version.

 

*Optional flavor additions:

Chai-

1 Tbsp ground cinnamon

1 Tbsp. ground ginger

1 Tsp. ground cardamom

1 Tsp. ground allspice

1 Tsp. ground cloves 

 

Pumpkin Pie Spice-

Use the above Chai recipe and omit the cardamom
