Caramel Sauce

Vegan Caramel Sauce 

makes 2 servings



2 cans full fat coconut milk

1/2 cup grade B maple syrup

1 tsp. ground vanilla bean

1/2 tsp. sea salt



Boil in small saucepan for 30 minutes or until reduced by half ..thick and golden in color. 

Remove from heat and cool for 10 minutes.

Whisk in cold butter and serve.

Store at room temperature  for up to a day. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
